Last updated: 3 May 20261. Acceptance of Terms
By using CheckMySkin ("the Service"), operated by CheckMySkin (ABN: 76 154 461 539), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-excludable statutory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
2. Nature of the Service
CheckMySkin gives you AI-powered early detection of potential skin concerns — helping you identify changes worth discussing with a professional. Screening results are based on visual similarity and AI pattern recognition, and are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. For personal medical advice, a dermatologist or GP remains your best resource.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. Expert Review Service
The optional expert dermatologist review is a paid service, priced in the currency shown at checkout based on your selected market. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details. Reviews are conducted remotely by a licensed dermatologist, typically within 24–48 hours of payment confirmation. Fees are non-refundable once the review has commenced. If a review cannot be commenced due to a technical error on our part, a full refund will be issued in the original currency charged.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CheckMySkin is not liable for any loss, harm, or damage arising from reliance on AI screening results. The Service supplements but does not replace professional medical care.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on the Service is owned by CheckMySkin. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
